Example: Electric Tow Truck Training (Bradshaw)

H1 Tow Tractor and Trailer are designed to maximise the materials handling speed and efficiency in scenarios that involve goods of different sizes and packaging. The trailer can be a single load carrier or an entire train of carriers that moves on its own wheels and possesses a self-stabilising mechanism. Tow Tractor handling is also called forklift-free handling.

Description

Tow Tractors with Trailers find application when goods do not have to be stored. Instead, they have to be often retrieved, and the spaces left empty by them replenished. E-commerce, food and beverage businesses, airports and manufacturing, are some settings where they speed up and organise the operations.

H1 Tow Tractor and Trailer training will include lessons on methods of driving the truck with different number of trailers and varying loads, choosing the correct paths for maximum efficiency, and precautions while performing challenging maneouvers.

Many modern electrical control systems incorporate programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives, safety relays and other complex control devices. Electricians working in industry have often had no formal training on these devices. This course provides candidates with the experience of problem-solving electrical control circuits which incorporate these complex control devices under the supervision of experts in their field.

It is easy to assume that we all learn to communicate from the minute we see daylight, after all, much of how we communicate is ingrained in us at a very early age, and the rest we learn as we develop. However, when communicating with others, our conversation is both verbal and nonverbal, and the messages we communicate are part fact and part emotions. This workshop explores the fundamentals of communication and introduces many opportunities for attendees to practise and improve their communication skills.
